How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Askingford Plumbing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what to expect afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

Topics We Accept

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you phoned or contacted Askingford Plumbing
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a plumber we connected you with

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Plumbers in our network run their own independent businesses. They are responsible for their estimates, pricing, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the plumber directly and keep a written record.

Please still let us know. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed from it. Keep in mind that Askingford Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@askingford.garden and include:

  • Your name and a way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The phone number you dialed or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

After You Write

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. We then look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about plumbing work itself, your state or local plumbing licensing board may be able to help.
